At long last, I have found a project that fulfils a dream of mine! Back when I started the business, I always wanted to combine my passion for children’s book illustration and carving, and produce a sculpture trail that told a story!
Thanks to Sefton Council, I have been commissioned to create a sculpture trail in Deansgate Playing Fields in Formby. I am working with children from Freshfields Primary School to create a unique story that I will illustrate in 21 carvings around the playing fields.
Stay tuned for updates on the project!!

Hey everyone, I am still planning on running courses in carving, I have a lovely farm to work at now, it didn’t quite work out at the other place. I can carve under cover now, and have use of lifting gear for large pieces.
I will post about courses soon.

It was a lovely job to do, and I had a great time getting to know the people in the community and hearing what they had to say about the Torrs Hydro project…. here’s a link to their site:

My new project – a foray into the world of creative landscaping – will hopefully come to fruition soon. I am looking for some woodland to purchase in North Wales to open up a sculpture trail along with the first of my Buried Giants.

I’d love to meet someone who can sell me a woodland for developing a sculpture trail as a tourist attraction. let me know if you have any possible contacts, thank you!
I’m all set to start running sculpture courses from early to mid next year, ranging from clay sculpture to chainsaw carving, beginner to advanced! I will be posting details early next year with info on how to get involved.
