There’s no link as yet to the map on Sefton council’s website but here is a downloadable pdf you can print off!

Hi All, This is the stump of the tallest tree, found at Lake Vyrnwy, half way up the north side of the lake. There is a car park on the left hand side of the road when driving north, and opposite you will see a sign marked ‘The Giants Of Vyrnwy Trail’
On the path you will see many very tall Douglas Fir trees, planted around 130 years ago to help hold the bank together.

at the end of the path, there is a viewing platform as seen here, with information about the tallest tree. Here you can see the stump I am about to carve, and the sketch I submitted as part of the design!

At long last, I have found a project that fulfils a dream of mine! Back when I started the business, I always wanted to combine my passion for children’s book illustration and carving, and produce a sculpture trail that told a story!
Thanks to Sefton Council, I have been commissioned to create a sculpture trail in Deansgate Playing Fields in Formby. I am working with children from Freshfields Primary School to create a unique story that I will illustrate in 21 carvings around the playing fields.
Stay tuned for updates on the project!!

Sadly I am not doing any major events or competitions this year in order to make room for other projects. However, watch this space for next year!!

Hi all, Here’s a couple of pics of the Torrs Hydro salmon I carved 3 yrs or so ago. It seems to have done well for sycamore!
